10 December
Woke up at eight o’clock having had a good 16 hrs. sleep!
Very cold so had to have radiator and fire on to remove chill from room.
Watched a bit of the news on TV but nothing to interest me.
Weather is dull, wet and miserable, will be same all day.
Will be going to parents for dinner and have to call in to the club to pick up my jar of pickled peppers. £2.20.
May treat myself to a couple of pints and have an afternoon kip till night viewing commences.

I look through the window and see the decorations of the neighbouring flats; reminds me of the rigmarole we used to have decorating the last house, I will, as last year be abstaining from decorations,
Gonna be a bit of a struggle keeping the place warm, its not as yet into the really cold snap and I’m going to bed fully clothed, fire takes hours to get the room warm.
Will just have to bite the bullet and put loads of credit into the meter!
Break for course work.
Went to parents for dinner, huge meal followed by half an hour lazing in bath.
Came home, watched TV and had a few whiskies.
Bed midnight.
