Had a brilliant sleep, 11 hours.
Had a bit of a struggle getting through yesterday but glad I didn’t crack!
By the time I go to bed tonight the Nicotine should be out of the body, had a good “pigout” last night, couple of beef burgers, liver and onions; enjoyed it.
Visited a couple of sites pertinent to my “condition”, have received a warm welcome from the members and I hope I’ll be able to help a few in the future.
Could murder a smoke!, have had to turn fire up a couple of notches to keep hypothermia at bay, (it’s not that cold but bloody chilly).
Promised myself I’d get back into college work, so am going to do an hour before trolling the web.
1:50 PM head full of different ideas, all focused on getting cigarettes! Hoovered up, whilst doing that I put some pieces of liver into frying pan followed by a couple of eggs.
Place looks the better for hoovering and I feel better for eating, but of course I would love a rollie to finish it off.
Am doing course work, decided to return to beginning and start course again, finding it hard to concentrate. Nicotine helps concentration, so perhaps my inability to get interested in work is because of lack of usual nicotine fueled by rollies.
I do tend to smoke a lot when using keyboards or studying course work.
Have changed my radio station today, am listening to 1fm blues. Not a bad station, Internet radio, good consistent stream with very little annoyance from talk overs.

Done a couple of modules of course work so treated myself to a gammon steak, fried egg and tomatoes, anything to keep me occupied and stop me from thinking of going to shop for baccy!
If I can last out till 7 p.m. then the cravings and mind games seem to abate.
Been tough.
6:56 PM
Been a struggle today, and trying to learn about using formulas in spread sheets for the first time was not an enjoyable way to pass the time!
Put TV on and realised it was in fact Saturday! Seem to have lost a day somewhere.
Have put a decent meal on, carrots, green beans, Yorkshires and beef stew. Only reason I’m having them is because I’d taken them out earlier to defrost.
Seeing as it is Saturday I may as well have a bit of fun on web and then have an early night.
Tobacco causes 40 percent of all hospital illnesses, while alcohol is blamed for more than half of all visits to hospital emergency rooms. The substances also harm society in other ways, damaging families and occupying police services
Am still smoke free, take a look at this site for some clever paint jobs.

Newcastle Brown Ale Rarebit
Serves 2 on lots of toast
50g butter
50g flour
250ml Newcastle Brown Ale (or any strong beer)
200g strong cheddar cheese, grated
1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbs English mustard
Freshly ground pepper
1 - Melt the butter in a deep pan and add the flour, stirring for 1 minute to form a roux.
2 - Pour in the beer bit by bit, stirring all of the time until you have a thick sauce.
3 - Stir in the cheddar cheese, Worcestershire Sauce and English mustard, a good grinding of black pepper and stir until thoroughly combined. You should have a thick paste.
4 - Toast your choice of bread, finishing the 2nd side with a liberal spread of rarebit mixture and grilling until golden and bubbly. This cries out for the remainder of the ale, so consume quickly before anybody else does.
