Had a very good sleep, restful, quite a lot of the aches have gone. Noticed this a.m. that the keyboard worked despite the receiver being well tucked away.
Yesterday began boringly enough with revision, turned out to be an interesting trail through encyclopaedia of how stuff works.
Think I’ve found a single source, which will accompany course work, and it’s free.
Probably quite a good job the gear was mild, allowed me to relax and study.
Studying is easier nowadays because the array of source material is such that one can find a source that is interesting.
Fact can be as interesting as fiction if one digs deep enough.
Checked Lottery results and nowhere near.
From 120,000, (Brother 120m) to 1.6G. To 3,000 million, bit of a hike.
I remember the first P.c. a brother all in one, kept it going for nearly ten years; a purpose built one followed and speed reaching 1.6. On an Athlon board, helluva system!
Now once again bought best I could afford at speed of 3Ghz.
The need for speed has been governed by the need for power demanded by the software and operating system.
I realised how quickly I can fall behind when I tried to install my genuine XP system and was informed it was too old!
It makes me wonder how the millions of people still using “archaic” systems will cope, will they dive headlong into the new Vista or embrace one of the versions of XP.
Have adopted a Carp fishing chair into a comfortable footstool, my working environment is coming together.

There was a time when by this time of the morning I’d have been sitting behind a desk wearing an ill-fitting suit and looking forward to any task which would give me a chance to go outside!
I hated being in the office when I didn’t have enough to do, if I was occupied the task had to be big enough to keep me totally immersed.
Busy I was happy.
Bored I’d be gazing through the window imagining the fish biting.
I still haven’t figured out what is the problem with the erratic outbursts of behaviour of Word

End of a 10 hr day.
