Took a little while to get to sleep last night but awoke feeling well.
Am not quite sure but am thinking 2 weeks without dope, there has been times I’d have liked a joint but I have no craving for it.
Enjoy the ability to get tipsy with only a couple of pints, just shows what abstinence can do for capacity.
I was well aware that habitual drinking was a loser’s game, the more one drinks the more one needs to get intoxicated.
I’d guesstimate I’ve saved an easy £40 per week by not drinking, add £30 for what would have been dope, soon adds up.
I am saving up to buy p.c. peripherals, possibly some furniture and a fund for next summer when I intend to travel a little.
I’m hoping to give myself six weeks of being dope free to see what its like to be straight.
I’m in no way dependent on dope or alcohol, nicotine being my only addiction.
The weather seems to be set in a rut of grey overcast skies and windy conditions.
Having spent most of yesterday either out or in bed there is no mess to tidy up so today should be an easy day, will do a little studying and perhaps some work organising clothes in bedroom. Such an exciting life!

Recent rise in share price gladdens me, almost 10p this week.
Headphones appear to have charged up successfully and as expected turned them selves off.

Phone amazon on mon, write to mp3 firm.

Prior to buying the washing machine I’d filled a sack with clothes with the intention of throwing them out, mainly because they were dirty!
I now sit comfy and warm wearing a jumper destined for landfill or charity.
I wasn’t deprived of a means to launder just didn’t want a huge hunk of rusting washing machine in kitchen.
For a year I’ve done without but not realised the effect on ones thinking.
A single person, male especially struggles at times to keep oneself clean and tidy.

A few days without a wash and shave, wearing same clothes soon envelopes one in a state of mind in which cleanliness becomes low on list of priorities.

I struggle to convince myself that £12 is a fair price for a packet of razorblades when I could live for a week on same value in food items.
Some weeks £12 is daily allowance.

I sneeze a few times and hope I haven’t picked up something; a lot of people will be getting summer colds with the weather being so unpredictable.
I’m approaching the end of a week during which I’ve eaten a lot of fruit and veg, even tried living on rice, feel better for it.
I now have a clean flat, clean clothes, towels, and bedding and thanks to change in diet, clean bowels.
Magpies chatter loudly on rooftop as I try to concentrate.
Local farmer is cutting his harvest from nearby field so windows are covered in dust.

I look at curtains and realise my ironing skills need to be developed.

The blue bottle, which has kept me company for the past three days, seems to have found alternative accommodation.
On the subject of accomadation, the two vacant flats are now occupied,
one of the occupants is known to me and I may do business with him in the future.

I’m aiming to lose a few pounds in weight, but slowly this time!
Perhaps a pound or so each week while in hibernation, aiming for a finishing weight in the region of 13 and a half stone.

Looked in mirror, my hair is growing into a mess but have decided no haircut till spring,
by which time grey will be the dominant colour.

I’ve only recently taken any interest in what food types I’m ingesting.
A little research and I am now more aware of what I should be eating,
Rice is providing carbohydrates and protein, veg gives a variety of vitamins and trace elements; hopefully together they will help me de-tox.
I’m drinking more water in an effort to flush toxins out of my body.
Rice is the most eaten food in the world. It is at the very food base of many countries. In fact, half of our planet's population actually depend on it for survival.
It's importance as a nutritive meal is unsurpassed through human history and it can always be part of a healthy diet.
Had a bit of a chew with a couple of registry cleaners, deleted after use.
