Good sleep woke to a bright but slightly chilly sunny morning.
Opened my post this morning and there was a letter from Police headquarters expressing condolences upon the death of someone with the same name as me!
I’ll return it to them; little off-putting first thing on the morning to find out you have died, hell I know I didn’t have much energy yesterday but wasn’t that bad.
Don’t know what to do today, may have a wash and scrub up and go for a run in the car, will see.

I noticed in the news the report that the cost of proposed I.D. cards has spiralled. I didn’t watch too much of the coverage after 9/11 but I do remember at least six people being found in the close proximity with fake I.D. cards.
Why do we insist on bringing in ideas from across the pond, which apparently do not work?
I realise security in Britain is lacking so why adapt an expensive and proven inefficient system?
