Up early, Nipper phoned, he had left his spade in the car so went and returned it and then went on to the tip and got rid of the last of the turfs.
Called at Alan’s, (supposed to pick up an unwanted p.c.) no answer so came home.
Weather is poor today, very fine drizzle; the weekend is going to see three days of rain so good job I put the compost onto the garden, will get well washed in.

Put request for prescription into docs.
Need to draw up a plan for garden before I forget where everything has been planted. Obviously will take maybe three years to mature but hell I can wait.
Am in quite a bit of pain today but glad I’ve got garden looking something like, by the time I get another couple of hundred summer plants in it will be almost full. Picked up some bargains at the garden centre yesterday, a scented rose for a quid and some assorted bulbs 50 pence per pack, I’ll just plant small amounts of different things and see what displays the best.
Bloody cold today will have to have heating on again if I’m going to stay in.
Fathers just phoned he’s got a load more plants that need to go in now before they get too leggy so he’s on his way down later. Going to do an hour before he arrives.
